In 2011 the closed joint-stock company ASE was a party to meetings and negotiations at government level concerning the further cooperation in the construction of the third nuclear power plant unit «Atucha». These negotiations were arranged by State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom”. State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” was prequalified as a potential vendor of nuclear unit fitted with Water-Water Energetic Reactor (WWER-1000 reactor).
Since 2012 the negotiation process in the frame of the upcoming tendering opportunity for the delivery of equipment, services and technology transfer for the construction of the third nuclear power plant unit «Atucha» has been carried out by JSC «NIAEP» and the closed joint-stock company ASE.
The second half year of 2013 was a time when the tendering opportunity was announced and the tender requests were submitted. At the stage of preparation of the tender offer the technical, legal and financial issues were discussed and decided.
