The construction of the first and the second nuclear units in NPP-2 “Kursk” is planned to replace the units №1 and №2 NPP “Kursk” after the expiry of the time-limit of their operation. The design and the construction of the new NPP is planned to to implement on the base of TOI-WWER-project. JSC «Concern Rosenergoatom», the design branch of JSC «Concern Rosenergoatom», JSC "Atomenergoproject" (the general designer of the WWER-project), JSC «NIAEP», OKB «Gidropress», RDE ”Kurchatov Institute”, JSC «VNIIAES» and LLC «ALSTOM Atomenergomash» take a part in the TOI-WWER project development.
JSC «NIAEP» is a General vender and a General designer in the construction of NPP-2 «Kursk».
