Through the kind offices of the closed joint-stock company “ASE” the project of Memorandum of Understanding between State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” and Egypt Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA) on the development and the following implementation of a program of an integrated survey of the ET-RR-1 research reactor in Inshas was prepared and agreed with the Egyptian party. It was decided that the closed joint-stock company “ASE” would be a responsible organization for implementing the project from the Russian site.
In 2012 the closed company “ASE” planned to take a part in the upcoming tendering opportunity for the construction of the first Egyptian nuclear power-station.
Today all planned activities about the market entry of Egypt are postponed until the political situation in the country will be stabilized and the official decision of the continuing the implementation of the national atomic program will be made by Egyptian government.
